Yes! You are eligible to be enrolled in courses at GRHS if you are enrolled in university or college, another high school, or live in another country. You do not need permission from your main school of registration to attend. Once you are registered with the school, Green Road High School will communicate with your school. Once you have completed the course, your home school will recieve the final report card from GRHS. The credits recieved from GRHS are the same as those earned at public high schools.
OSSLT: Should a student wish to take the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test at the GRHS administrative office located in Thornhill, Ontario, a fee of $100 will apply. Should a student wish to take the OSSLT through GRHS at an alternative location, a fee of $499 will apply.
OUAC: An OUAC account can be opened for any student whose OSR is hosted by GRHS. GRHS will maintain the OUAC account throughout that school year. The fee for managing the account and applications to three post-secondary institutions is $180.
GRHS will inform the student’s home school when they register for a course, and when the course has been completed. A final report card will be sent to the home school. The credit earned at GRHS will then be added the Ontario Student Transcript (OST).
Registration is completed online using our registration page. There will be an intial email sent to confirm the registration of the student once the process is complete. Another email will be sent to the students with the information they will need to access the online system of GRHS.
